Fitmind for Teens

Fitmind Coaching has a lot to offer teenagers because they are not a parent nor a peer.

Parenting teens can be one of life's greatest challenges. When thinking about having kids, it was the worry about will the baby be healthy, will it sleep, and then eventually it's getting them ready for school. Raising Teens is a whole different challenge and we understand this, you are not alone.

This has a lot to do with the fact that teens view and construct their own meaning to the world differently to adults. Their brains are not fully matured, and their stage of psychological development brings a particular 'meaning-making' that influences how they engage, connect and relate.

Fitmind's coaching and development program for teens is not tied to age or just about building self-confidence, but rather it works with the way the individual makes meaning, and how they see themselves in context with the world.

We look at what really matters to them and construct ways for better understanding, management and processing of their experiences and their world, from their perspective.

It was a real pleasure to co-coach with Sheena on The Helmsman Project Outward Bound adventure."
